Wiki / RULES & FAIR PLAY
Server rules
1. Discord rules
1.1 Respect
No harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, impersonation, or targeted abuse.
1.2 Communication
No spam, malicious links, advertising, or attempts to disrupt the community.
1.3 Appeals
Appeal windows are set individually, normally from 3 to 7 days depending on the situation.
2. Fair play and investigations
2.1 Forbidden software
Cheats, ESP, aim assistance, macros, lag switching, and unauthorized automation are forbidden.
2.2 Bug reporting
Do not abuse duplication, protection, economy, or map bugs. Report them privately to staff. A useful report may receive a bonus. Reporting is better for you and your team than abusing a bug and risking a team ban.
2.3 Investigation procedure
When staff requests a check, the player must not leave the server and must follow the instructions. Refusing, delaying, or disconnecting to avoid the check is a violation.
3. Team responsibility
3.1 Cheater association
A team linked to a confirmed cheater is blocked immediately. The rest of the team may submit an appeal.
3.2 Confirmed cheaters
Cheaters cannot be unbanned. The only exception is a hacked account confirmed by Steam and by the RSS investigation.
3.3 Ban evasion
Alternate accounts, changed links, and other attempts to evade a punishment are forbidden.
4. In-game conduct
4.1 Investigation exit
Leaving a staff investigation is forbidden. Leaving during ordinary PvP or a raid is player freedom. RSS does not interfere with those decisions. Unturned already applies its 10-second exit cooldown.
4.2 Stream sniping
Using streams, recordings, or external information to locate or target players results in a permanent ban for the player and their team. An appeal is possible only with evidence.
4.3 Base griefing
Base griefing is part of player freedom. RSS does not impose a separate griefing rule unless another rule is broken.
5. Reports and enforcement
5.1 False reports
False or misleading reports are reviewed individually and handled according to the context.
5.2 Penalties
Staff may issue a warning, temporary restriction, temporary ban, or permanent ban depending on the severity and evidence.
5.3 Evidence
Appeals and reports must include a clear explanation and supporting evidence when available.
Discord verification
A VAC ban from at least 300 days ago does not automatically block verification. A newer VAC ban is sent to staff for manual approval or rejection.
Appeals and account problems are handled through Discord.
